These are the basic steps for installing linux system file (.zip in general ) to USB :
- Get linux system zip file and Syslinux
- Format the drive
- Unzip linux system zip file onto the drive
- Type Syslinux.exe -ma X: (replace X with your USB drive letter) to make the drive bootable
